The Invisible Age - Photographic Self-Portraits by Women Aged 50-65
Collection of self-portraits done by women who feel at their age (50-65) they become invisible. Its quite interesting to declare that our culture focuses only on young women. I know that it is true but I am not sure that it is culturally enforced attention. Unintentionally, I often admire and even catch myself staring at young people. They are fascinating and attractive with their energy and beauty. I think its natural.
Am I scared by the invisible age - oh yes! I am terrified. I think it will be rather hard…. But I hope life will prepare me for a less vain, wise and mature state to come.
